Description: Consistent color for an economic price. Color originating from 18th century watercolorist William Payne, it is a cool blue-black that can be used as a substitute for black. Easier to control when used toning down colors or creating shadows. Excellent for underpainting. A combination of Ultramarine Blue and Black.
