Koh-i-noor has been producing chalk pastels since 1790. They continue to bring quality to artists today. Koh-i-noor Chalk Pastels are made of premium quality materials and are highly pigmented. The mutual combination of various types of raw materials in recipes developed over the years and appropriate technology for modifying the mixture and methods of their formation create the required qualities of drawing.
These chalk pastels are excellent for details, outlines, toning, coloring and various shading techniques. They are highly blendable. You can use them on smooth or rough paper. The rich pigment is perfect for deep shading. Use a shading stump or your fingers to smudge. After finishing your drawing, we suggest that you apply fixative to avoid further smudging.
To prevent it from breaking easily, we highly recommend that you use this with the Koh-i-noor Clutch Pencil 5.6 or Koh-i-noor Mephisto Clutch Pencil 5.6.

This graphite lead is thick and tough enough to be used as is. Its very smooth, handles softly and is honestly one of the best pencils I've ever tried. Woodless means you get to use every bit of this graphite stick without wasting any during sharpening. I just rub it in practice works to sharpen to a point! Tough enough to survive four foot accidental drops and even breaking it intentionally requires effort. Even better if you have a lead holder to wield it conveniently.
