Description: Mars Black is the most popular black not made from carbon, considered fully non-toxic, and animal cruelty-free. Mars Black is not as dense and dark as Ivory Black but has much better tinting strength. It is slightly warm in tinting strength but cool in mass tone. Extremely opaque, it is excellent when the painter wants a strong opaque black, or needs a black for leaner layers.
